What Colours Go With Grey in a Bathroom?

What colours do you want in your new bathroom? This is one of the first renovation tips that people ask me for when I am making recommendations for a bathroom renovation. It’s important to remember that there are no “right” answers here. Everyone’s needs are different and the choices that you make will depend on what colour scheme you prefer and what the lighting is like in your bathroom.

When it comes to choosing what colours you should use for your bathroom, it all comes down to personal preference. You may want to choose something more neutral such as white or beige. Or you may prefer something more bright such as red or yellow. However, before you make any changes, make sure you consider what the current lighting is like in your bathroom.

One bathroom renovation tip that is often overlooked is the effect that the light has on individual colours. Grey is often associated with black or white, so you may find that you want to paint your bathroom white. However, if you have old wallpaper or any old photographs that have been framed around the room, you could actually add some colour to your bathroom by having a few black and white pictures framed around the room. You could also create a very dramatic effect by hanging a black and white photograph in the ceiling directly above your shower. Although this might sound a little extreme, it can really make a big difference to the feel of the room and can really give it a wonderful light element!

Another bathroom renovation tip that many people forget is that the light itself has an impact on how well you can light each area of the room. For example, if you are going to install a chandelier or fixtures for your bathroom you need to ensure that the light that comes through the hole is bright enough. If it is not, it is going to cast an unflattering glow on the bathroom and make it look smaller than it really is.

In terms of accessories, light coloured accessories work best with grey. Black and white accessories are often too dark to match well with a bathroom renovation scheme. This is because black and white go together best when they are light pastel in tone or they are the colour of just about everything else. Grey on the other hand, is such a dark colour that it works best when used with other colours, such as white.

You should also consider the space that you have available. The bathroom is one space that you can renovate quite extensively so you will need plenty of space in which to do it. Therefore, it might be more practical to hire a designer or a lighting company to help you create the perfect bathroom renovation. However, if you are going to renovate your bathroom yourself, it is worth remembering that your bathroom renovation plans should always take into account the size of the space you have available for them to work in. This means that your bathroom renovation design needs to take into account the size of the space where you want to fit the items you are intending to install.

One thing that you should consider when choosing what colours to use in a bathroom is what effect you are trying to create. For example, the use of black and white is perfectly appropriate for a bathroom renovation with a nautical theme. As long as the colour scheme and the items you intend to use are similar to what is found on a boat, you should have no problems. What colours do you want in your bathroom? This question should be answered before you begin your bathroom renovation project.

Finally, you should remember that grey isn’t necessarily a dark colour. It can be used in a bathroom to great effect. In fact, you will find that the darker the tiles you use the better, they will look much clearer and give off a sense of space. The lighter tiles will make a room seem more cramped and narrow, but they will also make the bathroom appear less dark.
