Stains such as newsprint, label inks, cash register inks, marker pen inks, food pricing inks and indelible inks sometimes transfer to the laminate surface and could become permanent. In order to reduce the risks of permanent damage, stains should be removed as quickly as possible. If necessary, use a detergent or glass spray cleaner. Allow cleaner to remain on the stain for several minutes, blot with damp cloth and rinse. If the stain persists, solvents such as denatured alcohol, fingernail polish remover or paint thinner may be used. Follow up with routine and rising. Excessive use of solvents will damage the laminate finish and make it more susceptible to stains.
